Hey my name is Vic and I have a big…………Hot Sauce Collection! Like most of us here on the Blog I eat, sleep, breathe, and LIVE for Hot Sauce and Hot Food. For as long as I can remember I have always enjoyed that satisfying burn you get and have used Hot Sauce on everything I could. Early on I focused mostly on just being a “Heat Seeker”, the hotter the better was the only way to go. But as my taste matures I have turned more to flavor and the ever widening ingredient variety to suit the type of food you’re eating.

When I first met my wife Wendy, she quickly picked up on the way to my heart was most definitely through my stomach, and if doused in Hot Sauce it would ultimately seal the deal that much faster. Being the opportunist she is, she started us on this crazy ride. On our first Christmas together she began our Collection with a few cool bottles and now just over 1,240 bottles later it is still growing and going strong. Over the years our friends and family have been swept up into this Collection that has become our passion. I think that is the most fulfilling part of it all, that so many of the bottles we have are attached to memories, people, and places we have been together, it stands as a monument of our relationship and marriage.

Top 5 Hot Sauces:
*Tropical Pepper Co. XXtra Hot Habanero Pepper Sauce
*CaJohn’s Z Nothing Beyond Extremely Hot Sauce
*Melinda’s XXXXtra Reserve Original Habanero Pepper Sauce
*El Paso Chile Co. Hellfire & Damnation Habanero Pepper Sauce
*Blair’s Sudden Death Sauce W/ Ginseng

Hottest Sauces Ever Consumed: CaJohn’s Z Nothing @ 4 Million SKU, has the best taste for a killer extract sauce I have found, it is AWESOME!. I have tried Poison Pepper Co. Cool Million @ 1 Million SKU, Original Juan’s DA’ BOMB The Final Answer @ 1.5 SKU, and Ashley Food Co. 1 Million Scoville Concentrated @ 1 Million SKU.

Number of Hot Sauces in Collection: To date we are at just over 1,240 and growing. With huge heartfelt thanks to so many incredible people here on the blog, our Collection has turned the corner from just being of large quantity to now slowly climbing toward a high quality Collection.

Favorite Type of Sauce: An open one! I love all types of sauces but I tend to enjoy and drain the Habanero style sauce bottles the fastest. Give me a fresh tasting thick, pulpy sauce with seeds and I am a Big Happy Guy.

Hot Sauces Consumed: There is no telling, there are so many blurred years lost in an Endorphin induced bliss it’s hard to say exactly. Though if you are really interested you may be able to count the Fire Rings at the backend of town- but you will need to buy me a couple of drinks first!

Jodie, look under Vic’s top five hot sauces. That Melindas sauce is the one I was telling you about the other day. It’s awesome! And yes I remember what I said and I still can’t believe I did, but I did. Its delicious though, really.

If anyone knows were I can get a bottle of Stairway to Hell, PLEASE let me know! I got one as a Christmas present a few years back. Not only will it rip the top of your head off, it has the most wonderful smoky flavor! And then the endorphines kick in! Know that show Fear Factor, where they make contestants eat horribly gross stuff? I could eat any of it with a smile if Stairway were on it! I think it was made here in Calif if that helps. Pls, a review would be great! I am bookmarking this site! Great info! Thanks. Joe.
