Good Food Doesn’t Need Junk To Taste Good, Says Cackalacky Condiment Co. President
CHAPEL HILL, NORTH CAROLINA – Cackalacky Classic Condiment Company’s president, H. Page Skelton announced that the stalwart sauce corporation has converted its entire international award-winning Cackalacky Spice Sauce product line over to a more health-conscious “all natural” offering.
According to Skelton, he decided to shift the Cackalacky Classic Condiment brand to an all natural product class because of rising consumer demand for “clean foods” as well as his personal instinct to improve upon what his company calls “America’s best zest” recipe. Or, as he states the case, “We’ve gone ‘all natural’ because we feel that our original Cackalacky Spice Sauce flavor and brand integrity were being compromised by the presence of superfluous ingredients. You can call it divine inspiration if you like: I just woke up one day and said ‘What the heck are sodium benzoate and polysorbate 80 doing in our products?’ Mother Nature didn’t produce it. And I sure’s heck know that our patron saint, Cackalacky Jack, didn’t put that stuff in the original Cackalacky Spice Sauce recipe!” “Plus,” Skelton added, I know for a fact that good food simply doesn’t need junk in it to taste good.”
To help celebrate Cackalacky’s all natural-brand debut, The Condiment Company has also rolled out two new Cackalacky Spice Sauce-flavored products: Cackalacky Spiced Mustard and Cackalacky Spiced Ketchup (in addition to a new all natural version of Cackalacky Spice Sauce). According to Skelton, Cackalacky Spice Sauce’s unique flavor and brand position have allowed the company to successfully lend their original yam-based “zest” to what would otherwise be viewed as over-saturated product categories as well as aggressively sell their products in highly competitive markets.
Skelton cheerfully concluded that “Our new all natural approach to business is just more icing on the Cackalacky cake. Over the years we believe that several folks have attempted to commercially produce variations of our original Cackalacky recipe. And, now, I also suspect that the huge, monolithic, multinational condiment manufacturers will also take the ‘all natural’ cue from us, too. And they should because we are so much closer to the people! And the people – our Cackalacky customers – want cleaner food. It’s that simple.”
The original Cackalacky Spice Sauce flavor is a unique blend of more than twenty ingredients, including pureed sweet potatoes, tomatoes, aged chile peppers and Burgundy wine. Cackalacky spiced products and H. Page Skelton are featured semi-regularly on several nationally celebrated television food shows, publications and forums.
