Because of the incredibly mild weather last week I got to make one of my favorite and very simple grilled sensations.
Supplies:
1+ slabs of spare ribs (or whatever amount you want)
At least 2 bottles of Raspberry Chipotle Sauce (you can even make your own)
Shaker of your favorite meat seasoning
Step 1
Go ahead and clean off whatever fat is on the ribs and wash them thoroughly.
Step 2
Put the slabs of ribs in a large pot that will easily accommodate them and fill with enough water to cover the ribs. Add a little extra for evaporation and add A LOT of the seasoning salt to the water. You don’t need to put it on the meat itself; it will get plenty from the water. Put the pot on the stove and boil on high for about 2.5 hours
Step 3
With a hot grill, lay the ribs out flat and smother with Raspberry Chipotle sauce. Use a brush to rub the sauce in. Now you don’t need to cook the ribs very long because they have already been cooked. What you are trying to do is give them a grilled taste and fire the sauce into the ribs. Keep flipping the ribs and adding sauce every ?? minutes. Be sure to save some sauce to use for dipping later. I usually use about one and a half bottles while grilling and I save about half of a bottle for dipping.
Step 4
Dig in!
