I also have an extra ’95 1st edition XXXMAS if anyone is interested.
Thanks ~ Randy

Numbered 3 A.M. Reserve
I am looking for a 3 AM. A numbered one, to replace one I opened due to finding that the wax was cracked and thought was ruined. It does make a good chili though, that’s for sure. The bottle I have is #8220, anything near that would put things right, but I ain’t picky. The 2 AM I got at the same time is looking a little out of place since the 3 got moved to the fridge. I have an extra Le Million that I would be willing to part with if anyone is interested. ~ DK

Dave’s 2001 Private Reserve
Looking for a 2001 Dave’s Private Reserve to complete my Dave’s set. ~ Adam

Submissions can be sent to nick ‘@’ hotsauceblog.com. Include a brief description of your collection and we’ll post it for all to drool over. Previously posted collections can be seen here.

Joe Perry’s Hot Sauces

Reminder – please send your requests for collector’s items and/or for sale notices using the contact form. Leave a comment if you have a bottle that some is looking for (or you could use the form as well) and we’ll put you in touch.

Anyone know if a Blairs Death Rain BBQ with the blair’s name missing off the skull is rare? or is that standard, why would he leave his name off just that skull? Just wondering if I should open it or not πŸ˜‰ thanks.

  6. ryan Avatar

I’ve heard of other things similar to that and the value of it went up depending on the rarity of it. If you concerned about ruining it, then go buy another one to use. They don’t cast that much.

I was going through my collection the other day and had forgotten that I have a Blair’s After Death with the old style label.
Anyone know the approx value of this one?

  8. Nick Lindauer Avatar

    Got a picture of it?

Chris – seen it on ebay anywhere from $45-$75. If it’ll help, go to google.com and click on the “froogle” link. enter that into the search field and it will show results and price ranges from different internet retailers and even ebay links. Hope that helps

Looking forward to the pics dude!

BTW…Anyone know what the total ounces are in the 2004 Holiday Reserve. Working with the database tonight when I realized I didn’t have an entry for it.

  13. ryan Avatar
    ryan

I was under the impression that it was 10 fl. oz…aprox. 10 times larger than the normal reserve bottle which is 2.5 oz.

  14. MSK Avatar
    MSK

    Ryan,

Whew! That would be 25 oz. Then again, turning 56 today might be blurring my tought processes….LOL

DK – Numbered 3AM on ebay for ya. Only problem is the seller charges an arm, a leg, and your first born child for shipping. I bought from him once before. Here’s the link for ya if you’re still interested in getting one. Starting bid is only $9.99
    Link.

  17. MSK Avatar
    MSK

    Ryan…OK…Next time I’ll smash a habanero in your honor…LOL!

3AM…A little sly of hands to keep the final value fees down. Assuming he sends it Priority ($3.85), then all he needs is one bid and he’s made about $25. Anything over the starting bid is icing on the cake.

  47. DEFCON Creator Avatar

Hmmm, are you trying to say the UK guys will beat you out with Johnnie Blue? Oh the humanity of it all! πŸ™‚

It should be a great time. You’ll be happy to know, due to popular demand, and the tweaking we’ve done on the harvesting, we will be offering 1 ounce un-numbered un-signed bottles of ZERO as well, for personal use. I got a LOT of e-mails from people saying they didn’t want to open the bottles to use the stuff, but at the same time heard pretty good reviews on the taste. I don’t know how many we’ll be able to make, but it should be a good number of them. See, the Creator really does have a heart, even though he keeps it in the freezer.

  53. DEFCON Creator Avatar

Huv, Twirling Nationals? Hmmm, well, if you’re going to the NYC show tell me when, as we are planning to go as well (with a major appetite).

As for the “regular” ZERO’s, I’m just responding to the call of the public. It is a shame to have to open a collector bottle. Perhaps I can get The Huvason to eat a ZERO wing, now THAT would be entertainment!
