Introducing – The Art of Chipotle

Pfleider Pfoods, Inc. is please to announce that its line of award winning chipotle products will now go under the brand name “The Art of Chipotle”.

“This name has been part of our marketing since the early introduction of our sauces and gourmet chipotle paste, but it will now be the brand name,” stated Tom Pfleider, the President of Pfleider Pfoods. “The Art of Chipotle more accurately describes our focus on defining the standard for this enormously appealing taste in the market. No other company to our knowledge is focused exclusively on chipotle; particularly the upscale, gourmet, medium-heat offering that we focus on.”

The award winning label and eye-catching graphics remain the same. The company’s multiple national awards and the all natural benefit are also featured on the label along with serving suggestions and recipes.

Pfleider Pfoods won 9 awards during the 2005 fiery food competitions including the most awards of any company at the Scovie Awards, 1st and 3rd place in the medium heat sauce category, and the People’s Choice Award from the Fiery Food Challenge hosted by Chile Pepper Magazine.

Pfleider Pfoods, Inc. is a producer of gourmet chipotle products with a BOLD Taste and Pleasing Heat that can be enjoyed by all ages, ethnicities and heat tolerances. A national network of brokers, distributors and stores is being established and industry personnel are encouraged to contact the company.

I spoke with Tom Pfleider about a month ago, concerning the label change. The previous labels can be seen here on the Sweat ‘N Spice website – I rather enjoyed the “Schizophrenic Chipotle” label, but it seems that some people were offended and Tom decided to make the change to both better reflect the product and appease the masses. Regardless, the bottles still contain the same great sauces that has made Tom’s brand into the “Art of Chipotle”

If you haven’t had the chance to pick up some of the Schizophrenic/Art of Chipotle sauces I suggest you do immediately. These sauces are not your typical “hot sauce” but more along the lines of a gourmet cooking sauce. Each sauce contains the gourmet chipotle paste base, which Tom also sells. Simply delicious!
