DALLAS — WingStreet® today announced that it is kicking-off a “Wing it to Buffalo” sweepstakes. The grand prize winner of the promotion will receive an all-expense paid trip to the National Buffalo Wing Festival to be held Labor Day weekend in Buffalo, NY.

“With our delicious combination of intense flavors and sauces, there are more than 162 ways to wing it at WingStreet, but there is only one way to get a free trip to the National Buffalo Wing Festival,” said Lisken Lawler, marketing director, WingStreet. “The festival is a great place to hang out with thousands of friends who share your love for Buffalo wings.”

Customers can enter the contest between now and July 22 by visiting www.wingstreet.com and completing the online entry form. The Grand Prize winner will be selected and announced in late July and will receive a four day three night trip for four to the National Buffalo Wing Festival. Five first-prize winners will receive WingStreet wings for a year in the form of $350.00 in gift cards.

The National Buffalo Wing Festival is the world’s preeminent wing celebration, held annually in Buffalo, NY. Created in 2002, more than a quarter of a million people have attended the festival, which features special events, entertainment, buffalo wing tasting and eating contests.

“Last year, during our debut entry to the National Buffalo Wing Festival, we won first place with our Medium Buffalo Sauce and second with our Burnin’ Hot sauce in the Best Traditional Medium and Hot Wing Sauce categories,” Lawler said. “When we return to the festival this year, we want to bring one winning WingStreet fan with us as a good luck charm.”
