Baumer Foods Inc., the manufacturer of Crystal Hot Sauce, has purchased The Figaro Co. of Mesquite, Texas, to increase its footing in the $7.7 billion condiment industry.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Figaro manufactures Hickory Liquid Smoke, Mesquite Liquid Smoke and Fajita Marinade. Baumer, a family-owned company, produces and distributes hot, soy, steak, teriyaki, wing and Worchestershire sauces, along with spicy brown and yellow mustards.
