How I picked these clubs
- Clubs that ship full-size craft or official sauces, with published prices.
- Clear terms on renewal, skipping and cancelling.
- A gift option, prepaid or fixed-length.
- Prices and terms read from each club’s own page, or a live Amazon listing, on October 28, 2026.
Picked, not tasted: I haven’t subscribed to these clubs or tasted their sauces. No club paid to be included, and I’ve never accepted payment for a review.
How to gift a hot sauce subscription
- Prepay: a prepaid or fixed-length plan avoids handing the recipient a bill. Choose the one-time gift option where it exists.
- Mind the cut-off: HEATONIST ships the 12th–18th, so a December order placed after the 15th ships in January. Print a card for the stocking.
- Pick the heat: if you’re unsure, choose a mild-to-hot or all-levels plan rather than extra hot.
Frequently asked questions

It depends on the person. SCOVILLED matches each box to a heat, flavor and food profile. HEAT Hot Sauce Shop is the lowest-priced full-size club with free US shipping. HEATONIST’s Hot Ones Box is the official Hot Ones subscription. Fuego Box focuses on flavor-first craft sauces and says it avoids extract sauces.
How much does a hot sauce subscription cost?
On October 28, 2026: HEAT from $17.99 a box (one bottle, free US shipping), SCOVILLED from $18.95 a month (one bottle, free shipping), and Fuego Box from $12.95 a box plus $5 shipping. On Amazon, Gourmet Gift Co.’s Hot Sauce of the Month Club was $39.99 for 3 months.

Do hot sauce subscriptions renew automatically?
Monthly plans usually do. HEATONIST’s monthly Hot Ones Box renews on the 12th of each month unless you cancel; prepaid plans renew only if you chose auto-renew. Check each club’s terms at checkout.
Can you choose the heat level?
Yes, with most. SCOVILLED sets a range from mild through superhot; HEAT offers Mellow, All Heat Levels or Extra Hot; Fuego Box has an extra-hot “Pain Seeker” box. The Hot Ones Box can’t be customized.

Yes: Gourmet Gift Co.’s Hot Sauce of the Month Club, $39.99 for 3 months or $79.99 for 6 months when I checked on October 28, 2026. Each month brings a different sauce, per the listing.
