Defcon Day Toronto Photo Recap

Here’s a quick recap of the 1st Defcon Day in Canada – more details and photos to come later. Toronto’s Defcon Day had the largest number of entrants in a Deathmatch and the HSB’s own Anthony did Canada proud and won the event hands down with Sporto taking a close 2nd place.

Looks like a good time was had by all. One question though….are there no pictures expressing the true pain of the match as once exhibited by huv and GN??????

It doesn’t surprise me that this event saw the largest field of entrants, not at all.
You see, we’re known as the land of ice and snow, but what the hell do you think we do up here huddled in our igloos during the long cold winters?? EAT HOT FOOD!! You have to keep warm somehow, plus hot sauce makes the whale blubber taste that much better.
Funny thing, Canadians have balls as big as church bells when it comes to competitions like this. It a pride thing, a tradition we’re proud of and sometimes it can be our undoing as well.
Just wait until those Death Match wings hit everyone’s colon, they’ll be looking for a snowbank to park their keisters in right quick too bad it’s May.
Well done Anthony, all that training you’ve done with Uncle Big’s Killer Hot Sauce has paid off and Sporto coming in a close second just shows that HSBers know how to take the pain!!
Congrats to everyone that competed, next time save a seat for Uncle Big!!

Uncle Big: Canadians do have Brass Balls. I know I skied a lot at MT TREMBLANT. They put me in the dirt racing. Tough SOB’s

Hi All. I was there last night … what a blast. I’m the guy in the yellow shirt in the Death Match. Creator – thanks again for hosting. Any luck getting the bar to carry your wing sauce? I would certainly go there for that reason! Without the sauce, they are just another bar to me, and I would go to bars closer to home. Cheers

Ken, I replied to your post about opening your reserve as I didn’t know you were one of the Crazy Canucks to take the Defcon Challenge.
Good on ya brother. You don’t seem to be devouring the wings as furiously as Anthony across the table was. How hot were they??

They were pretty hot – I got some down and The Creator said it was honorable just to be at the table! Next up, I’m looking forward to trying your reserve which is about to be launched (and adding some Defcon sauce to my order – my wife really liked the #2 with her wings! … I preferred the hotter #1 of course!!).
