THE MANHATTAN CHILI TAKEDOWN 2007 IS A NO-HOLDSBARRED CHILI COMPETITION at MO PITKIN’S in New York City, JUNE 3 – 4PM- 8:30PM!!!!
ANY ingredients welcome: Beef, Chicken, Pork, Vegetarian, Seafood- just so long as it stuns our judges senseless!
$15 to enter you chili recipe (well-earned prizes and a good time is your reward!) . If you just want to come and eat chili all day, pay $8 at the door to try each of the contestant batches!
Cook up 2 GALLONS (a BIG pot!) of your secret recipe, and bring it down to the MO PITKIN’S in the LOWER EAST SIDE, JUNE 3 at 3:30! We will collect your entry fee at the door, and provide you with a sterno-heated tray for this 3 hour event. PLEASE EMAIL MATT TIMMS at mtimms7@hotmail.com to ENTER. We need an accurate headcount of contestants! And finally, bring your friends out- the more the merrier, and a solid fan base might just give you the edge in the “People’s Choice” catagory.
