The crew at Jungle Jim’s has kindly offered (4) Firecracker 500’s up for grabs in a contest that will run until the winners are announced on the 4th of July.
Contest Specs:
– In 500 words or less, describe your hottest & funniest 4th of July ever
– 1-2 pictures can be included (no more then that please)
– Entries will be accepted until Saturday, July 1st
– Winners will be announced Tuesday, July 4th
– Winning entries will be voted upon by 3 judges: Bret (Jungle Jim’s), Nick (HSB) and yet to be determined third judge (Blair (pending availability) or ChrisK)
– Entries can be emailed to: contest@hotsauceblog.com
– By submitting an entry, you authorize the HSB to publish any entry item submitted.
That’s it! 4 Winners will recieve a Firecracker 500 from the Jungle Jim’s crew absolutely free!

The long windedness and attempted philosophical attempts to the justification of whatever gets said are the best comments to read, then later in the thread watching the supposed offender trying to make it look like it was nothing and was all taken out of context comment is usually the best because everyone knows it is malarky and he is trying to just make them selves look good (which always does the opposite). 😀
Ever think about banning offenders and arguers. As soon as something happens a thread goes up saying so and so is disqualified? 🙂 Might keep people from getting involved in the stuff (except those like me that will not enter these contests 🙂 People like me just instigate it 🙂 hehee now that could actually be funny, just say stuff here and there about this and that to get a rise out of some people 🙂

Well CaJohn, getting to 1000 was not all it’s cut up to be, there is this really icky handshake thingy, and the only ones smiling after it are chrisk and Huvason.

All right, I do care. Yup- I’m a phony 😉 I can certainly argue the ‘knowing everything’ part! 🙂 Sent the essay in, haven’t heard back. Can’t say I’ll be disappointed if they don’t pick me though- life is just about as full as it can be at the moment! Home only 12 hours yesterday & don’t get home again til Tuesday afternoon & then it starts to get busy! Waaah, waaah, waaaah 🙂 Book is on hold (90% completed) along with the rest of my life till at least August 19th.

Sorry to disapoint you, but even if I were going to enter this one, I find nothing wrong with the way this one has been set up. I figured it was a general statement, but I have complained about things in the past, which usually gets people on the bandwagon of bash Ryan (Newman and whoever else was doing it). My statement was meant to be sarcastic, but the unfortunate thing about a typed dialogue is that the tone of the dialogue is not easily conveyed. Guess I should add something to my comments to let the reader know. Anywho, I gotta go get a new monitor. Mine is dead and I’m using the wife’s computer.

We also keep looking here, it’s been a little slow lately- being summer and work has been very busy, spending alot of time there. I have a couple of ideas and I will let you know when some goodies will come from this direction. 🙂
Right on we are looking forward to it, I work next to this posh store and they get some interesting stuff in there once in a while, so on my lunches i go in and take a look in the hot sauce section, lots of fruity stuff in right now, and some other real hot (so the label says) sauce, I’ll go in next week and see if I find anything interesting 😀
