Sorry Jim great stuff. John knows alot what I have. Ask John about my hot sauce person this weekend. Jim I might need some help I would like to see If I have some sauces on this list. I would like to see them get in the right hands.
No problem Bret! I’ll see you on Friday & we’ll chat. Block out some time 🙂
Hey, I have a couple BIG collectables getting ready to go on EBAY..AJ Hawk (THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY) signed less than 12 Bottles of a Private label I made. It’s called Buckeye Hawk Sauce with Ohio State color. He enjoyed the label and kept a couple for himself and his manager. We are supposed to get a few more back from his manager but right now we have a few of them on hand. He should be a top 5 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft!!
AJ Hawk was a darn good player for Ohio State U.
I have a couple bottles of Judical Flavors from a fairly long time ago,
But they are not MFD by Fletcher Grant or CaJohns. The back of the label says MFD for “Pickled Petes Pickled Packery” (seriously) out of
Ashburn CA. Does anyone know about when these were made ?
(I think these were already old when I bought them around 97-98)
Fletcher Grant never manufactured Judicial Flavors. You’ll note the lable says ‘manufactured FOR Pickled Pete’. Pickled Pete is the corporate name of Judicial Flavors so *all* the labels say/still say that. The reason I can recognize the period when CaJohn did do it is from keeping track of that and recognizing the bottle style from when I was making CaJohns stuff as well. Confused yet? 🙂
Hey Jim,
This is off topic. In case you didnt see my post yesterday, I received the pics. They are happy and hanging up at work. Thanks! 😉

Actually that clears things up. I only have the old 6oz bottles
and now I know that Judicial Flavors is Pickled Pete and is on
all of the labels old and new. Thanks !
(Dang, I should have searched the HSB first, I just found an
old entry about the company owned by Wendell Peters dated 10.31.04)
I think Jim knows everything. There should be a special section on the Blog called “ASK JIM”. What ya think Jim?

Maybe Not!!!
Geez, I feel like some kind of fossil. Yes, back when people walked barefoot in the snow to school, Judicial Flavors, corporate name was Pickled Pete’s Pickle Packery. It could also be used as a field sobriety test! It was first manufactured by Mad Wills in Auburn, CA then CMS out of San Brueno, CA and Cajohns Firery Foods of Columbus, OH. While circumstances required a retooling, Judicial Flavors continues with new Flavors such as Pastatution, pasta sauce, Liquid Assets, (will require the signing of two waivers and requires a Hazmat sticker to transport) and spending time with finally getting “Cooking with the Shyster” a local production. It is part cooking show,Judge Judy, and Jerry Springer.” I have missed my chile friends and look forward to spring of 07 to be able to see everyone again.

At least you don’t *look* like a fossil 🙂 Glad to see you’ve come out of hiding 😛
Greetings Chilewilly, my brother Cajohn, and the ever high stepping Jim,
It was a pleasure to come back to this great site and catch your responses and salutations. As usual it took me a while to get back, so sorry for the delay in my response. In bouncing around this amazing site I see that the empire continues to grow and conquer in your capable hands. Keep up the production so the heat can be with us. Hope to see some of the many fine chile types out there in the State of Enchancement in March. I know many of you will be in a state of enchancement and it would be fun!
Again, my compliments to Nick for providing such a forum.
Wendell drop us a line over here at Cajohns be great to hear from you
