All right you all have fun this weekend and keep it hot. If I don’t get back on tonight I will talk too all next week. Oh If Leroy shows up at anybody house. He is harmless. He can sleep in the garage tell him to leave the gas alone. And you could give him a Barbie doll to play with. Did I tell you he Love’s dog. Show him the train tracks the next day and he will be on his way. Later

Well i need to be really careful if he shows up here. I have a bull-dog named Chooch (found wondering the railroad tracks – Choo Choo), those 2 might not get along too well together then. But Chooch can definately show him the way to the tracks.
Huv, she can hold Isabella as long as she wants(all women love babys)

We’ll always find away!
Thanks for info!!! Look forward to meeting everyone!
He’s a bit bashful to claim credit, but this ‘collectors badge idea’ was something that CaJohn has been pushing for awhile. I think it is a great idea, from a seller/manufacturer point of view. So many times we (vendors) are approached with the “I is thinkin’ of maybe startin’ up a hot sauce type company- please give me one of everything you got for samplin’.” There are serious collectors (found here) and the non-serious collectors with the micro-perf, home printed biz cards, looking for all the free stuff they can get, hurt them. Not to fault them, but that makes us a bit cynical when it comes to *all* collectors. This goes a LONG way to legitimizing the true, quality collectors and should benefit them in the long run. Kudos to Chile Pepper for trying this out! And kudos to Nick & John for getting it done!

Yeah, CaJohn & I pushed this through, a big thanks to Chile Pepper for entertaining the idea and letting us try it out. More to come for ZestFest 2007!
Speaking of pushing something through, here is another ebay auction for Jim Campbell’s Step up for Charity fundraiser. Here’s the auction!
HAPPY BIDDING!!!

Thanks 🙂 Actually the birthday was August 6th when the bidding for the #1 set finished. I don’t know if that was intentional or not, but Nick can go ahead and claim credit that it was 🙂

It might take a show or two for it to take off, but I think this is just an outstanding idea… especially from a vendors’ point of view! Until you’ve stood on ‘this side of the booth’ for a crowded show like Albuquerque, you can’t appreciate how this will help the real collectors get the time & attention they deserve.
Thanks again Nick!
Jim,
Awesome accomplishment !!!! We are going to Ebay our #1 Signed bottle of INSANE Death in the Desert, and donate the proceeds to you.
Our last #1 went for $70 I think on ebay, with this being a charity bottle for you, Im sure we can do better. Also, the next Illegal Alien, the lettuce picker, same thing, #1 will go to you my friend.
I’ll get you the bottle after we get the labels done and you can sign it also if you wish, I think that would be great.
Anybody that can help me link this together, I would really appreciate it.
We’ll talk at ZF
See ya gang !!
AZ Jack
OOPS
Help with the way Tracy posted the link, I should have been more specific.
ZESTFEST: Anyone flying into DFW around 1:30 or so on Friday? Danny and John and I are driving but my wife’s flying in then and I was looking for someone to split a cab with her direct to the Will Rogers center. We’re staying at the amerisuites and you could throw your bags in our booth and then even catch a ride back to the stockyards with us after the show. Shuttles suck and take too long. She’s flying back sunday around 5 so maybe you could split it that way as well. Email me at lee@D—-C—.com if you’re interested.

Be wary of this offer! When you try to get it back Lee’s face goes into convulsions while growling sounds spew from his mouth! 🙂

Should have brought beer

WHOA! How’d I manage that?
Nick and all your friends;
Please stop and see Spike and I at booth 707 during ZesT Fest. It was great meeting you and The Mississippi Sauce King at Firey Foods. We’re
all packed and ready to work our butts off.
See you there;
Sparky
As I stated on the forum, anyone buying any kind of bottled sauce, whether it s a collector issue or not should take into consideration transporting it back via commercial aircraft. With the recent terrorism stupidity, you may find any sauce bottle getting confiscated. Pack a couple USPS Priority Mail boxes in your luggage and ship them home from the hotel. I think your T-59 will look better on YOUR shelf of Doom than in a confiscation bin.
