For those that have wondered what the “special” Defcon Zero Batch 2 was gonna look like, well here ya go. I was a little apprehensive about the package when the first thing I see is a note from Nick stating “The hair is real! (Not my idea) – Nick”. I have to admit, I laughed my butt off when I saw it! Appears to be cat hair, no Bones found yet (a little scared to dig!). The Zero was in the silver box when I got it. Not sure whether to take it out! Gotta admit though, that picture is even freakier in person.
Again, thanks to DC, Nick, and everyone that voted. I guess the Caption #2 results are due soon, I never looked to see who was who on that one. I look forward to doing more of these, great fun.

The materials I speak of were purchased for creating something else, but the Mrs. came up with a great idea to use it in the project. Entry Rules & Specs:
Pimp your sauce using whatever you can find – you can even pimp around your sauce (stand, display, background etc…)
Take a picture (or 5) and send them into nick ‘@’ hotsauceblog.com with the subject line: Pimp Your Sauce Contest
Everyone can submit as many entries as they like, but only 1-2 entries per person will be selected for the final vote.
The final vote: The HSB community will have the final vote on the top 15 – 20 entries. The entry with the most votes will recieve #1, the entry with the second most votes will receive number 2 and so on and so forth. There will only be 10 winners (there are only 10 bottles).
Any of the final entries with suspected voting fraud will be eliminated.
All entry submissions must be received by 4/21 (that gives you 2 weekends to work) and final voting will be held the following week.

To give ya an idea of what I can do with PSP, the background is something I did. Wasn’t completely from scratch, but enough work to seem like it. PSP is a lot of fun.
Send me the pic back you got for the video. I sent the vid to myself and it came back as a vid. I would like to see how it looks as a grab. Can you get a zip, I’ll resend that way. I think you will like the vid if you can get it.
DK, I got the lighting better on the pic, but the low res does create a bit of graininess. The data is there, just not compact enough. gonna try a couple more things, but if you want to use the resolution and lighting you got with the video, try e-mailing it to yourself to get into a jpeg. If that doesn’t work, I can send it back to you in that format.

DK, you are a piece of work. I will be checking my e-mails tonight, it’s been a little hectic as of late. I had an interesting “mishap” during one of our distillation procedures (yeah, I’m already working on the Batch #3 stuff, so it will be ready by September). The “stuff” was slightly under pressure and very hot, and I got splashed in the face with a bunch of it. Thank God for goggles, however I had lowered my respirator for a split second, but that’s all the time that was needed. Needless to say, it’s nice having the St. Barnabas Burn Unit 15 minutes away. The Createss had a great quote for it, “If you live by the sword, you die by the sword”, pretty accurate in this instance. Anyway, I’ll check it tonight and give you a reply.
