First of all we want to say THANK YOU to Nick for allowing us to do this contest. He is surely the “hub” for all the great friendships that have blossomed through the HSB and we are proud to be part of it.
Secondly to all you devote chiliheads who came up with the greatest names. You provided a bunch of great laughs for Kristi, Jodie and myself. It was hard to choose, but it was something that we had to do. Through process of elimination it became a really close tie… but unfortunately we only have one BBQ sauce to name.
The name that we chose and decided to use had to be tweaked just a little, but was our absolute favorite nonetheless.
The WINNER of the NAME THAT SAUCE CONTEST will be receiving a full product line of THT and bragging rights to the name of the sauce!

The Great White North is sure as hell white today. We got over 2 freakin’ feet of the cold wet stuff (and no, not Miller Lite) last night.
I sent Mrs. Uncle Big down to open the store this morning and the next thing I know, she’s back home an hour later looking like a cute little snow cone. She didn’t quite make it to the store.
The city was just avalanched in snow overnight and I had no idea until I actually got out of bed. That’ll teach me for sleepin’ in. She didn’t even tell me when she kissed me goodbye, she just went on her merry way in knee deep snow. What a trooper eh?
Other than that, we’re working on the marketing for our new Uncle Big reserve sauce (HSB will get the first taste of that bad boy by the by dontchaknow) as well as three new flavours from the Droolin’ line and working on getting toques, beanies, tshirts and hats screened and embroidered up for the Christmas rush. You know, the usual.
