Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – The rumors and suspicions have been confirmed, Mrs. Uncle Big has a little jalapeno popper in the oven!!
Lorien and I just wanted to let all of our HSB family know that we are expecting our first little pepper pod.
We just got the ultrasound results today and we are we are as proud as proud can be.
Everything looks great, the baby is growing as it should be, albeit larger than average, like that’s a surprise considering the male breeding stock involved.
Too soon to tell the sex, I thought it was a boy (AND WHAT A BOY!), but the tech pointed out that I was seeing the umbilical cord, but the baby’s gender doesn’t matter to us, as long as the he or she is healthy and loves spicy food!!
As you can see by the ultrasound pictures upon first glance everything appears normal.
But after slipping the technician a little incentive, we zoomed to find that our child is already knowledgeable in sign language and has a fiery little heart beating in it’s chest! It was all I could do to choke back the tears.
That’s Uncle Big’s offspring for sure. Attitude right out the gate, gotta love it!!

Wow, this is my first post on here but I feel like I know you all so well. Thanks so much for the congrats, we are really excited and a little freaked but I’m sure you will all tell us that is to be expected.

We moved to Saskatchewan for a slower pace and to accomplish two things:
1. Open the first Fiery Foods store in Saskatchewan: DONE
2. Start a family: DONE
Both have been a great success. Mind you there isn’t much else to do here except work and “practice” making babies.
I highly recommend it to everyone.

Let me tell you what is ahead for the two of you. I have 5 kids 14 to 23. I think I know what I’m talking about. SIMPLE THE GREATEST TIME IN YOUR LIFES watching them grow day in and day out. Then sitting back and looking them and saying OMG I hope they don’t turn out like me LOL Just kidding … But for real The greatest time in both of your lifes watching your kids everyday.

One of best things about your little girl is when she starts to go out on dates and the boy has to meet THE DAD. And for the boys.This is a good one guys, when they start to date. There girlfriends have to meet the COOL DAD and they can stay for dinner and come over as often as they like. And in the summer time when the pools is open they and there girlfriends can go swimming anytime they want even if my boys are not home. MY HOUSE MY RULES
Congrats folks! No kids of our own per se, but we’ve had over 38 (ranging in age from 5 to 50) through the house. Your life will become busier and fuller than you can possibly imagine. “24/7” will take on a whole new meaning 🙂

The wife and I have two offspring, one is 13 and the other is 9…We can remember the day when we first laid our eyes on each of their ultrasounds, and it seems just like it was yesterday. They grow up really fast Uncle Big, so cherish every second with your child because time really does fly!
Jeff and I were not blessed with children, but we have 2 nieces and 3 nephews and 10 godchildren, and we are VERY active in all of their lives….the diaper changing is DEFCON GAS MASK SCARY! but it can be done …..
