chrisK,
By any chance could you take a digi pic of your hot sauce from us? I would like it for archive reasons, we have no more of those old labels left. I think you have some from the 1st 144 batch we ever did.
THANKS
Aj

I used to be a big fan of Mustaine and crew. After Rust in Peace I lost interest though. Just like I did with Metallica after In Justice….
Peace Sells……..

Someone say FREE BEER (and some FREE PIZZA and FREE WINGS) I think i’m going to cry…. never got a chance to celebrate yet ๐
Hey AJ… no signed bottles, but I do have a couple of 10 ozers

Whoops… meant no num,bered – but signed ๐

Pics would help Huv, we had some pretty trashy ” garage band ” labels out when this thing gt started. Thank bud, that makes up for the $164 i have lost so far, not my weekend I guess. I blame it on the Mets, we could have beat them , ouch, my head hurts
[Comment ID #66249 Quote]
Countdown and Youthanasia were AMAZING albums. I liked those two as much as Rust In Peace.
[Comment ID #66254 Quote]
Friedman is an amazing guitarist, butI think this is a hot sauce site, sorry to hijack it. I have tickets ( we go every year) to TSO, ever geta chance, go see them.
I’ve seen them live (1995)! Loved it. ๐
[Comment ID #66245 Quote]
Megadeth ROCKS! Their last album after they got rid of Marty Freedman kicked butt.
To get back on topic ๐ I think it looks pretty cool. I thought after this many reserves how could he make this one any different. Looks good to me!
[Comment ID #66254 Quote]
Cryptic Writings had some good stuff on it too. They did start to slide downhill like Metallica after Youthanasia. Freedman is a great guitar player, but he was dragging them down, then tried to kick out Mustaine. They’re getting back to some hard $#!t now.
[Comment ID #66261 Quote]
Still holding Deicide’s Stench of Redemption as Metal album of the year. Dragonlords Inhuman Rampage is up there as well!
But I am getting off topic here for the thread!
Is Ebay the only way to get these?
Very nice….come on ups
Just poppping in to say hi before I leave for the night. Hope all is well with everyone!
And Parker I beleive the Halloween reserve sold in in 26 hours on Blairs site.
[Comment ID #66261 Quote]
Metallica!!! What happened to them is just sad…and wrong….and sad again….. ๐ I think I”M capable of getting more pissed than they are….lol
[Comment ID #66267 Quote]
I know….I just wanted to see if anyone noticed I said that…..lol
I got one!
[Comment ID #66268 Quote]
Kill ‘Em All. My favorite by far as a complete album. Not a Megadeath fan though. Well, less of a Mustaine fan I guess, and it has nothing to do with Metallica.
To stay on topic, pics are great of the Reserve, but still glad i didn’t get one. Yea, I know, I’m a party pooper! The bottle does look great though. Would have loved to get a Halloween Megadeath though, but no spare bills this week. Just my luck.
[Comment ID #66271 Quote]
Have to agree with you on that one, Dave Mustaine did nothing but ANNOY me!! No offense to the DM fans out there, just my 2.
[Comment ID #66272 Quote]
That’s it. Annoying. My best friends fav band is Megadeath, but I’m the total opposite, he hates me for it too! Ha! Imagine that, a metalhead that doesn’t like Megadeath.
[Comment ID #66273 Quote]
Now that’s scary DK, something in common. Eeek.
Every time I hear Megadeth mentioned I hear Beavis and Butthead in the back of my head.
yeah…yeah..thats cool…mmmhummmmhum
[Comment ID #66271 Quote]
Hello all…. Taking a small break from a large project…
Hope everyone is doing well…
Can’t wait for the reserve. Looks like all the bottles will be the same….hum, this should please a few

I kind of perfer a twist, to me it makes collecting that more interesting. But like you said it will make a few happy just like the old missionary position….lol
The views and opinions are those of the above blogger are his and his only please take no offense… This is a Test only a Test,,,,lol
. ๐ DK I thought we could be friends….I guess I was wrong :'( [Comment ID #66271 Quote]
I hope you all realize that Dave Mustaine was one of the founding members of Metallica and if it weren’t for him, Kill em All and Ride the Lightning would not be anywhere close to what they sound like. Kirk Hammet was Dave’s replacement. Now Pepperts and Justice were great albums, but you can hear the change after they kicked out Dave. And Kristi, I believe you can get angrier than Metallica, but I’ve never seen anyone PMS as much as Lars when he started his war against Napster ๐
that’s supposed to say “Puppets”, not pepperts…freudian slip I guess
[Comment ID #66282 Quote]
Like I said Ryan, nothing to do with Metallica. He was definately a benefit to the old skool Metallica sound, no question. It’s his stuff after Metallica that I’m not really fond of. Annoying vocally is probably what I was trying to say. I’m not a Dave hater, just not a fan. But yea, Mustaine era Metallica rules in my book. Rock on!
[Comment ID #66274 Quote]
Love of Defcon Sauces doesn’t count? Man Creator, that hurt, I always thought we we were like twins! ๐ And to think that I thought of you as an Uncle! (Uncle Leroy!) ๐
[Comment ID #66281 Quote]
Well Mr. S, I didn’t mean to let ya down so hard. but I just can’t go on pretending any longer! The lies, they’ve just been tearing me up inside and I just had to let the truth come out! Can you ever find it in your heart to forgive me? ๐
. ๐ ๐
DK: I just had to let the truth come out!
Where’ve youo been keeping him? ๐
[Comment ID #66282 Quote]
O please don’t get me started about Lars, BLABBERHEAD that he is. I am fully aware of Dave Mustaines contributions but was none when the worse when he was out of that picture. Thats all.
“but Iรขโฌโขve never seen anyone PMS as much as Lars when he started his war against Napster”
That was pretty funny BTW.
Ok, I’ll throw in my 2 cents. As a guitar player, I think Malmsteen is the best rock player on the planet, but I wish he would evolve, every album sounds the same.
Fav Megadeth song ever: Skin O my Teeth

Well if THT can keep Mad locked up……..
Gatorman Jerky, Jersey Boyz Jerky, see the conection? ๐
(this statement was made in jest, Gatorman Jerky has no affiliation with Jersey Boyz Jerky, this disclaimer is for the humor impaired.)
[Comment ID #66293 Quote]
I play too A.J. And again it is off topic…. but I think Malmsteen had his time. Just like Eddie did. Dragonforce guys are kinda top of the hill i think now. My favourite is still Randy Rhodes!!!
Thanks for the good wishes all, but the B-Day was Friday. On to the next one!
[Comment ID #66301 Quote]
Good news, your project will be finished Sunday. I will send pics Sunday night. Hope you had a great B-day.

By the way ed, the package arrived safe and sound… Thanks again
[Comment ID #66293 Quote]
Holy Wars and Architecture of Agression are mine. First time I saw Megadeth live was at a rock festival here in Portland. Everybody was just standing in the pit waiting for the next set, Megadeth came walking out and with no warning broke into Holy Wars.. I’ve been in a lot of pits, but none have errupted like that one did, and it was the best ass beating I’ve ever had ๐

Well, I’m not too sad about having missed out on the 299 limited edition numbered bits of Blair’s 2006 Halloween Reserve Hot Sauce. Topped off with a skull and some lovely orange wax, it’s a little too hot for me, mind you. Although…dunno, ma…

Good my friend! Draggin’ A$$ a little- seems like the Holiday Season is starting early, we are cranking and it’s been wide open for me the last week or so!! I owe Nick an apology, I’ve been slacking on my reviews lately- just do dang busy with work and my down time has been used for sleep and rest!!
All this talking about metal bands is very interesting to me… I’ll leave it at that. Just to be kind, As a fan and musician I COULD go on for days.
My buddy is the drummer for Mega and his brother is the guitarist ๐
My halloween 06 did not fit in the case! I had to cleverly mod the back and now it fits:-)
