Annoucing Blair’s Jersey Death Sauce
Born and Bred in the Garden State – Blair’s Jersey Death Hot Sauce is making Jersey Feel Alive! Be warned this sauce contains ingredients 750 times hotter than a jalapeno chile. Use sparingly. Jersey Death should not be consumed without dilution. Made with the great Blair’s Karma.
Blair’s brand new hot sauce is hot hot hot! Made with the Blair’s standard of Red Habanero Pods and Cayenne Chiles, this death sauce also incorporates Pirri-Pirri Chiles and Pumpkin Seeds. This sauce is not to be used without dilution, as most death sauces are.
Now, I’m a big fan of Blair’s hot sauces overall, with Blair’s After Death being my personal favorite. When I received the shipment containing the Jersey Death I just had to open a bottle to try it out. With a consitency and coloring very similar to Mega Death Hot Sauce and a label covered in warning labels, I proceeded with caution.
Okay, so that was pretty hot. But once the burn wore off, there was the nice “hot sauce” high – the reason behind my madness. In the furture I won’t be using the Jersey Death Hot Sauce straight, but I will be mixing it in with some chili or coating some chicken. And don’t worry, even if your not from Jersey, you’ll still enjoy this hot sauce.

Yep, that’s my mug. Just goofing off with the camera, not actually tastebuds were harmed with the tasting of Blair’s Jersey Death, although I would venture to say it’s just as hot as Mega Death
We finally got to try the Jersey Death sauce today (was waiting for a coworker to show up)
We actually tried the MegaDeath first, and then the Jersey Death. We both think that Mega Death was hotter, but it could have been scewed due to the order in which they were taken.
More flavor than we thought. Both had completely different flavor. I think I like Mega Death better.

I have Mega Death. I can easily eat it with chips. Tons of it. Just got jersey death. It is definitely hotter than mega death. Tried using it on chips and was in extreme pain after the 3rd chip with the sauce. Pain in the stomach was worse than pain on the tongue.

Just bought a bottle and tried it with some fries and chicken, it was hot it cleared the nose and burnt the tounge but didnt water the eyes or burn my lips. i had atleast 6 to 10 drops on a small portion of chips. at one stage i started walking around in circles thinking what have i done am i crazy? after 15 minutes and a drink of TAB and a smoke i could still feel my taste buds burning.

i had some blairs jersy sauce yesterday at work along with a friend ( kev ) a tea spoon full no hessitation all in one. it kicks in after about 15-20 seconds but when it does it is really really really hot it is by far the hottest thing i have ever had in my life but it was a laugh 🙂
I got this sauce a couple of days ago, great as a mixer in just about anything from hummus to dressing to soups. As long as your careful not to add to much I think it enhances many foods. Great flavor for a sauce this hot and practical heat if you know how much to add. two thumbs way up.
Ex/ mixed in 1/4 cup of hummus eaten with pita chips
1 Drop = slight steady burn, nice if at work or sharing
2 Drops = strong punch very hot, perfect a home
3 Drops = can barely manage to not grab milk and pace after you finish
4 Drops = shit! was a bad idea but what a rush at the same time
5+ Drops = ??? won’t try it in only a 1/4 cup that would be showing off
Yeah so at work today I was dared to drink the whole bottle and I got 2 mouth fulls and I definately didn’t expect it to be that hot… I chugged a gallon of milk and I puked and it is even hotter coming back out. But it is definately amazing if taken in moderation haha
I just ried this for the fist time. I put just a drop on a chip…I was a little surprised at the heat, but loved the flavor to go back for the drop that was still on top of the bottle. Great heat, but not disabling.
I understand that this is an old blog, but hopefully you can help me with a spice question. I’m going to be in NJ sometime in the near future and wanted to take my husband to a hot sauce shop. I was wondering if you knew of any in NJ? I don’t mind having to drive. What I’m looking for is wall to wall hot sauces and hopefully some kind of sampling of hot sauces? preferably the really fiery ones? Not sure if this exist, but if you could help me in any way I’d really appreciate it! Thanks!
