Thanks for the info Nick. I’ve ordered mine.
Yep, thanks, got mine ordered as well.
I went to the local Le Gourmet Chef and found numbers #11 through #22 sitting on the shelves. All except #18 was cracked or broken under the skull. One was leaking. These store clerks don’t get the idea of being careful with the product.
My Local LeGourmet Chef store is very careless with Blair’s Products as well. I haven’t seen the new reserve there yet, but all the 2AM and 3AM’s are broken and leaking in the plastic cases. Do they throw them around or what?
Well crap – after reading the two comments on the bad handling of the Reserves, I certainly hope the ones that are bought online are handled much better. Maybe the damage occurs after they are unwrapped from Blair’s packaging.
I actually work at an LGC, alot of times it’s the way the sauces come in on the trucks, some of them are a mess. All of the Le Millions are in excellent condition at my store (I should know, I recieved ’em in) but probably won’t be there for long because of the web orders.
Just got mine via DHL, came in perfect condition. No cracks or leaks. I am a little disappointed with the bottle number as I ordered it so early. Bottle # is 871, but the way they are distributed around to the stores, I can’t really complain.
I emailed LGC about the whole number thang. It seems that they don’t even look at the bottles, certainly not the numbers, before they are packaged and shipped. NOT a comforting thought to us, the collectors.
Yeah – Any online orders are most likely going to be higher end numbers, they don’t even unwrap from Blair’s packaging before re-shipping.
The online orders come out of their Commerce, Ga. location. I called them yesterday and they said that they had initially only had 25 available for order and that they were calling the other stores to locate more until their next warehouse shipment comes in. Looks like the #’s are gonna be scattered about pretty good. A frind here at work has one ordered, and so does a family member, so I can’t wait to seee who ends up with the lowest #! I may have to do some friendly horse trading!
Thanks to HSB for the early annoucement, I would not have gotten it so soon if not for reading it here first. Order was placed before I even got Blair’s email.
Yeah – HSB broke the news almost a day ahead of Blair’s newsletter and only 10 minutes (or so) after they went on the Le Gourmet site.
Well, this looks like a case where random chance might still net you a low-numbered bottle. Kinda sucks for those of us who are quick on the mouse-click to order in trying to get a low #, but I guess it’s better to have one at all as opposed to not.
if anybody wants my #18, I’ll accept ‘le million dollars.’
That the only one out of 11-22 that you grabbed up?
yes, all the rest were broken.
Makes it all the better for collector’s. Every broken bottle is 1 less from 999.
Well, it’s official. I don’t think anyone will be trading to get my bottle for its number. Despite ordering 3 hours after Nick posted the info, I got bottle #854. On the flip side, at least it arrived in perfect condition. ๐
I wonder who will wind up with #1 – #10
my bet is that Perfectly Pickled already owns them…
Usually, I would say you are right, but in this case Le Gourmet recieved 997 bottles. Blair has #1, #2 is with a Le Gourmet buyer and the rest were sent out to the stores. I bet some lucky employee has #3-10 stashed away.
I would love to be that lucky employee. My store recieved numbers ranging from 255 and 275, though not every one in between. And all but one are gone.
I called my Le Gorm store and asked them if any of the broken ones were left; they said they shipped them back.
My bottles arrived on Friday. Both are in the #800’s.
1 was still wrapped in Blair’s wrap and surrounded by packing peanuts and the other was shipped loose in the plastic display case with nothing around it??? Somehow, it was not damaged. However, the yellow label on the bottom is all ripped up due to it sliding over a “little point in the plastic” on the bottom of the plastic display case.
Mine arrived yesterday as well – all high 700’s – in good condition though, not taken out of Blair’s packaging at all.
After a long period of indecision I just put in my order. This late, I hope I don’t get a recycled broken one!
Ordered my Lemillion yesterday. Hope is OK. On another note I just saw an open bottle of 4AM on ebay. It was #642. That is kind of interesting because I have #642 right here in fron of my face. Also Blairs site uses #642 as the display pic but it is different than the OTHER 2 #642 4AM’s. How could this happen?? At least 3 #642 4AM’s out there????
somebody’s got some explaining to do…please keep us informed!
Just for the record…the #18 I purchased is signed on one side and then numbered on another side. The picture posted here shows both the signature and the numbering on the same side. How’s yours?
and it’s in GOLD ink.
Signed & Numbered on the front side(same) with gold ink.
Does anyone know what this “cuttingroom floor “stuff is?
Eric – The ‘Cuttting Room Floor’ is going to be a set of bottles from Blair. The bottles are going to be bottles that did not make the ‘cut’ (so first runs and such). Blair will release more info when he’s got em ready to go.
Gotta love it. I have a bottle of the 2nd run of the Mega Death sauce with the label that didnt “make it”. Blair signed and numbered the last 73 of them. I got #67 out of 73. I have to say BLAIR RULES!!!
Gotta quick question. How long did it take for you guys to get your Le Million?? Its been over a week for me now and still havent gotten it.
Scott – Ordered mine on Tuesday, recieved them on Friday. There is probably a longer delay for a bunch of them because of the shortage of bottles. They only reserved 24 bottles for online orders and those were sold out quickly. I assume they have to get bottles from the stores now and then ship them out.
I think that is the case. I went to both of the Le Gourmet Chef stores here in town and either one of them had any left.
Yeah, exactly as you guys said. Our store got an urgent message when we still had 11 left to send ’em all out, but we sold 9 of ’em that day. There’s still one left, there’s a little crack in the wax but it’s not too bad.
Got my LeMiillion #235 I think Blair is coming out with another Holiday Reserve. Not to brag but I have the most complete and extensive collection of Blair’s sauces – hands down! I dont like to toot the horn but this one – Toot Toot Toot. It took me a long time and a lot of cabbage$$$. The collection keeps getting bigger (and better). My wife is ready to kill me
Ive got all of the Blairs stuff but the caldera, (my brother has that one) and the first holiday reserve. Do you have the limited edition Mega death?? I have that one and think it will be worth some big bucks in the near future. Only 73 of them out there.
Dude,
I have the 1st run preproduction MD signed & numbered (16 of 73), a second run MD preproduction signed (not numbered), and a signed current production Mega Death. Not too shabby huh? The Caldera didn’t do too well though (don’t know why) Mine actually exploded when it came to the house. I wrote blair and he hooked me up.
Dayyumm!!! I thought I had a lot of Blair’s stuff. I REALLY wanted that Preproduction Caldera that was on ebay about a month ago. That was sweet!!!
OK, finaly got my LE Million. It was #295 and it is ok but for a small crack in the resin under the skull. I think im pleased with that after all the stories ive been hearing.
Just got my Le Million in. Pristine condition, in the colors of my alma mater. I am pleased.
I gave the sudden death sauce that came with it a try, and it’s pretty good. I sampled it next to MD357 to get a sense of the heat and it seems more than Dave’s but much less than the MD. Anyone have an idea of the scoville rating of Sudden Death?
I made a trip to my local Le Gourmet Chef last night and sadly, all the lemillions they had were all cracked, and the one 2 am they had was without a case and the price sticker was placed right on top of blair’s signatre…I almost wept

Read that in the forums – nice job. Wish you would have sold it to me!
Unless I come across really hard times, that bottle is never leaving my shelf. ๐ How often do you get the chance to own a #1 of anything, you know what I mean?

G’day guys. My #353 was stolen. I need a value for it for insurance. Anyone have any idea what it’s worth? I originally bought #677 but blairs informed me that it was cracked so they sent #353 for no extra charge. Please help!! Thanks guys;-)
