Ok, now I know there wasn’t an e-mail sent about this..thought I had been left out for some reason. Or was I? How did everyone find out about it?
No ..This was put on the site Spur of the moment.. We are making some changes in our warehouse and while going through some old boxes We Found 22 Bottles Today these are from 1993…Aside from that only 1 more exists…In my Collection…No email has been or will be sent out for this bottle. They are, it just depends how/why you collect as to what “you” consider collectable. Value to me is based on how much I like whatever said bottle rather than market based prices.
Anyhow, nifty item you found tucked away and I don’t imagine you’ll have a hard time selling them.
Man, wish I could get in on this. I have already blown my hot sauce allowance for this month, my timing is way off on this one. I do have a signed After Death that is supposedly from 1993. I have not had it verified, but it looks just like the Death sause in the picture except for the wax. It has a black vertical band instead of the red with a small eye. The label also is more plain and less glossy than any other Blair sauce that I have. I have an AfterDeath that is similar, but with the large eye and a glossier label as well. That 1993 Death sure would look good sitting next to them.
I just hope I get one. I’d love to add it to my collection. My order has gone in anyway

I just spoke to Karin, and apparently they got a ton of orders. She sounded so funny telling me about it. “Uhh, yeah..it looks like floodgates opened up shortly after yours” so if you didnt get in last night i am pretty sure they are gone. Good luck. There were orders before mine, so who knows, we will probably get an email stating we got one if we were lucky. Poor Karin. she puts up with so many calls like mine, SHE ROCKS for being so patient!!!

lol, I’d work for any hot sauce manufacture, distributor, ect….just seems like noone ever hires anybody. I’d even invest with one if the opportunity arose.
I tried ordering and the submit order button gave errors. I called in and gave my order to Karin who also said the system didn’t seem to be working. I got my order in though over the phone.

I received word today that Wendy & I had put in the first order- according to the extremefood.com WebMaster the sauce was posted on the site at between 10:19 – 10:20pm last night, our order time stamped in at 10:21pm. Like a lot of others here we just happened to do our daily check-in on the site when we saw it and quickly jumped on it. I have posted many times and given a ton of praise and thanks all around to many people and also I am in no way a suck up- but today was incredible. I have not had the chance to meet Blair nor have I spoken to him before, but today at around 2pm I retrieved a missed call and a message and I just about hit the ground. Blair called to congratulate us on getting the #1 bottle and gave me some of the backround on it, to have him do that takes him to a new level in my book. Think about it, how many people who make any type of product would take the time to do something like that, it blew me away. And to top it off, I called the number back on my drive home from work and was transfered directly to him- I just about crashed my truck when he picked up. To me it shows just how much he cares and how dedicated to not only his products but to the hordes of die hards who love his products. I know this is getting sappy but I just felt strong enough about this to share it with you all, we are all a part of something really cool, we all share that same “passion” you hear about so much. Blair, thanks man- that meant a lot to me and I want you to know that I appreciate what you do and now who you are.

We hit Tijuana Flats a lot, also the Le Gourmet in the Premier Outlet mall on I-4, there is a place on S.R. 434 called Petty’s- it a great little place that serves free beer on tap as you shop; it has fresh meats, microbrew beers, wines, gourmet foods, and such.
personally, I think the bottles should be topped with a base of black to match the lids and put white on the orange labelled bottle as the second layer, and orange on the whilte labelled bottle as the second layer, and double layer the black with both colors..
For that I would have made a much more agressive bid on them for!!!

Yeah, there are 2 Tijuana Flats here and a 3rd on the way. There is a Pettys meat market in Sattelite Beach that I goto when I visit my parents. Man!!!! I wish I could still goto Peppers!!! My parents sold there summer house in Ocean City Maryland so my 30 minute drive to Peppers is now a 12 hour one. LOL

Wow!! I really missed out on this one. I was so busy yesterday that I didn’t even check e-mail or the Blog until 3pm. Obviously these bottles were all gone by then. Oh well, congratulations to all the brothers who scored one!! What an addition this would have been.

I cannot wait to get mine! I got another blairs order today and man did he hook me up! He knows how to treat a chilehead! I got all the q-heats and two candles! Stuff like that makes me a customer for life! Mine will be here next tuesday. Post up the numbers cause I want to see how many people from the blog got one! I mean we do stay up all day posting about hot sauce so it would stand to reason a few of us got in on it 😀
