NOVEMBER 1—“Burn, Baby, Burn,” the revolutionary hot sauce, is ready to take it to the streets. The Smoking Gun has received an official communique from the Black Panther Party (well, actually, from the folks at the Huey P. Newton Foundation) that the spicy condiment should land in stores soon.
As we reported this summer, the heirs of Newton, a Black Panther founder, applied to trademark the phrase “Burn, Baby, Burn” so they could place it on hot sauce (the sale of which will raise funds for anti-violence and educational programs).

Burn Baby Burn has an excellent flavor and is one of the only hot-sauces I;ve had that tastes good on a variety of items. It is also organic and promotes community services with the money they make!
I’ve been buying it for years, and I didn’t know that it was funding social welfare programs. I’m going to buy it more often now! Awesome hot sauce, and for a great cause, too.
