Defcon Day is upon us, so if you are on the East Coast, prepare your liver and your lips for a day of beer and wings. In case you missed it before, here are the details:
When:
Saturday, April 1st, 1-6pm

The Alley Bar and Grill
428 Springfield Avenue
Berkeley Heights, NJ

Free wings (as usual, with #3 & #2) #1 will be available, and perhaps the tasting of the ZERO BATCH #2. Coors Light girls, drink specials.
By train: When you get off the train, head towards Springfield Avenue. At Springfield Avenue, make a RIGHT not a left, and The Alley is a few blocks down on your right, near Kings Supermarket.
How does one get to the bar from Manhattan?
PATH to Hoboken, take the Morris/Essex “local” train to the Berkeley Heights station (you may have to switch trains in Summit, ask the conductor). From there, you’ll see the Police Station on one side of the tracks, HEAD AWAY FROM THE POLICE STATION! 
You’ll go about 150 yards and come to Springfield Avenue, make a right, it’s about 2-3 blocks down on your right, to the left of the Kings Supermarket.

Made it back in one piece, can’t say the same for the unfortunate folks that had to share a train car with me, but oh well.
The contest was an elimation round, but frankly after the first round it was only Huvason and myself – we ended up going 4 rounds – 13 wings each round = 52 wings in less then 45 minutes.
The prize: One signed Defcon shirt and a Defcon Zero Batch #2 which I will be using for prize for the next Caption contest – pictures to come from today’s wing contest…
Also part of the prize, a signed Coors Light framed picture that I gave to Mad (sorry Mad’s wife).

Nick truly won the wing contest – dude can eat them fast! I think I would have outlasted him on quantity, but he kick my butt on speed:)
