Everyone: I’m looking for a handful of hot foods manufacturers to participate in an article. We’re looking for smaller manufacturers, guys who started making sauce in their kitchen and are working on making it in the industry.
Also, if you’d like to do an interview as part of our Hot Sauce Manufacturers section, please let me know. Several reviewers would be happy to come up with questions for you.

Nick, Great idea! People just starting out need all the exposure they can get, what better an audience than the good folks of the HSB. I started in my kitchen 6 months ago, and attending my first local show on May 20th. It’s been quite a ride and love to share it. Sign me up.

Hey Gordon, Welcome.
Nick I’M really just starting out. Came in second recently to the guy above!
I want to encourage anyone to do this cause I find it alot of fun to learn about the little guys out there. You never know what letting a bunch of chileheads know about something hot might do for you ๐
Three Hot Tamales are so in… so whos the lucky one to do the interview ๐ Great idea… thanks Nick
Joe’s XXX hot sauce is exactly who you are looking for. Catch me at joesxxxhotsauce.com.
I’m in. Answers can get long winded and wandering, though hopefully not too full of ‘self’ ๐
I have had a great time doing the interviews for HSB so far. It would be nice to see some good participation.
Count me in. I’ll definitely guarantee a few laughs, at my expense of course. As my wife constantly reminds me, “Dammit, why couldn’t you have created something that doesn’t hurt you when you make it?”. My response is always, “What fun would that be?”, whilst flushing my eyes with sugar water.
I’m in too! Always a good time on the HSB!
Of course I’m in. Would love to do it.
We would be interested in this as well

Well now, I couldn’t pass this up… Of course we’re in… We may not be little by Canadian standards, but by US standards, we’re way littler than everyone else!

How are things?
Scotty B’s Hot Sauces could use the extra exposure! We are defintely trying to make it in the industry!! Please keep us in mind when you choose your victims. LOL!

Well I sent several sauces in to be reviewed, As of now I believe two have been reviewed with good results. We still do small batches in a commercial kitchen. We grow all of our hybrid Habanero’s in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, I think the mountain air and mountain spring water help make our peppers unique! I am a Certified Chef just makin good sauce!
Sauces That Sizzle
Yearn for the Burn
Chef Bud
Count Danny Cash in!
Great idea Nick! Hoping some good interviews coming up. Something saucy and something spicy! Can’t wait anymore.
The Toad is in if you’re still looking for interviewees! We have a couple new products coming out this year.
hey guys- sounds like this is right up our alley. We started in our kitchen 16 years ago and now are bottling 4 salsas, 2 bbq sauces, and other assorted products in our little plant in Texas. We also co-pack for other little guys just getting started. Would love to be a part of this and to have our products reviewed.
Wow,
This is my first entry. I found HSB thru Vic and Wendy when they bought from us on ebay. We have made the move from the kitchen to renting a restauraunt after hours, and have been growing like crazy.
We hit ebay power seller last month with our Awesome Habanero Jerky anchoring our sales, along with some signed early bottles of sauce.
I have read this blog since Vic turned me on to it, and you all are such nice gang of people. I hope to get to know you all well.
Thank you for your time, and congrats on such a great site !!!!
Im hooked, and count me in!!!

Jack, is the Illegal ALien Hot Sauce yours? Welcome to the blog, just bought some from you on e-bay.
Yes sir it is !!! I have yanked all auctions due to unexpected growth, I am having a hard time keeping up with off line orders. They are selling like crazy, and the next ones will have professionally printed labels.
THANK YOU
Also, Huvason, I think I remember your name from an ebay transaction as well, glad you enjoyed the sauce.
I want you all to know, it is just the beginning for us and we sure appreciate all the good will and suggestions. This has grown beyound my wildest dreams, especially the jerky !!!
Later gang,

thebigshow…..
The wife and I are looking into travel to Zest Fest, YES, we plan on attending. Too late for a booth, but we will be there. This is our first show, and just that fact demonstrates how much we need to learn.
A note on the signed bottles:
About 3 years ago, Randy Teal, The Mississippi Sauce King, ordered 2 bottles of our Death in the Desert. We were cookin in the kitchen at the time and didn’t even have shrink bands yet, and home printed labels.
Just so you all know, Randy had me siign the bottles, he has the absolute #1 and #2 bottles we ever signed. For thos of you with the ” early stage” signed bottles of our products, hang on to them. Understand we are growing, and labels will get better as we grow.
I have sold about 600+ Illegal Aliens, but only signed a very few of the label you have now. Hopwfully, someday you all can say, yeah, remember when he was on ebay with the hand applied labels?
Lol folks, Im dreamin here. See you at Zest Fest 06!!!
Vic has my cell phone if anybody wants to make plans to hook up at the show.
SEE YA
Jack

The prodigal son finally returns!
After the disaster of America’s Zesty Best Food Show in ’05 and an unfortunate bout with severe identity theft, I had to dial back FirebrandThriller Foods and the Smokin’ Hot Mama Sauce sales to the private farmers market sector. Not sure it means much, but I did win first place peoples choice there with that sauce. Since then it has won some other awards, but not at any sort of trade show. Thats the next goal ๐
I really miss the family and I hope that some of you guys might remember me. I was the one next to Crazy Charlie with my debut sauce.
I am finally back into the swing of things. I have the website back up, and in the midst of a heavy redesign. All told I have 5 actual products now, you can see 2 of them at my website as some I don’t sell online quite yet. I am looking forward to making the trip from Pennsylvania to the Fiery Foods show next year. I hope to see you all there!
If you are still doing interviews, I would love to participate. Please feel free to contact me at sales@firebrandthriller.com.
Hey hot sauce lovers looking for a manufacturer or investors who can make my created hot sauces , chutney etc
I’d like in on this.
Try (BEANIE’S OF LANCASTER)
They do small batchs (40 gallons), and are a great group of people to work with. They also have a container company, so you can save even more. The manufacturing price was very reasonable, at least for my product. Tell them SHAKEY JAKES sent you. good luck
I think I can also recommend Beanies- at last I know that I send a fair amount of raw ingredients there for at least a few of my customers. They must be doing something right ๐
Hey Jim,
How you been since last years Hot Luck. Yeah Beanies was very helpful on the first order of saucess they made for me. From all the manufectures that I could fined, they were the only ones that made small orders and even with the small orders, were able to keep it at a low cost, and able to manufacture it with the exact ingredients that I use. great company
Doing great Jake! You going to set up at this years’ Hotluck again?
I don’t think so, Had a auto accident on the 21st of Feb. Teenager hit me head on at 1:20 am. think I’ll going to be layed up for a bit, But I’ll sure try next year.
Best of luck to you! Hit the ‘great American lottery’ did you? Minus 40% in fees of course ๐
Oh, I guess I didn’t mention she didn’t have insurance, neither did her father whose car she was driving. My agent called him and all he had to say was, ” I don’t care what happened to him or his car, I have no insurance but I do have an attorney and you ain’t getting nothing from me.” Nice huh…My attorney charges 33%… hopefully I’ll be able to afford better lables when this is over..:)
WE make our and co-pack for others. Family business making and growing. I just logged in today for the first time. I tried to leave a post for the guys looking for a small co-packer, but can’t. Don’t know what I need to do to get more accesss.
We’re in. Hope you’re looking for something with an Aussie/US flair.
