Well guys we managed to do it again… We have created a gourmet hot sauce that will get your turkey gobbling’. A blend of cranberry and a medley of citrus fruit mingle with the smooth heat of Dorset Naga peppers. what would you rate this on the HSB heat scale?
Well General
My sissy mouth would probably say its about a 7 (1-10). This sauce really doesnรขโฌโขt pack a punch immediately but after about the third bite… that naga will definitely hit you and your sure to end up with a nice steady burn. Our goal was to create a sauce that would compliment the meal, not overpower it. Turkey is toooo yummy to ruin like that ๐
WHAT OTHER FOOD WOULD YOU RECOMMEND IT GO ON?
Well any meat really (pork, chicken, turkey, maybe some fish depending on how you cook it) I didnt try it with beef yet. I think I would like it on mashed potatoes, over salad… wow I can think of a million ways to use it. Guess it depends on your flavor preferences. And about my rating of it….. Please dont go by that. Doug (aka the truth) saw it and said, “Its not a 7 to him”. It will be reviewed on the HSB, so Ill leave that to the (tasting) pro’s.

I agree it is great on pork, had it on pork chops the other night-YUM, chicken, fish, lamb, turkey,and ham. Not for nothing though, I would even say it would go great with dessert. On vanilla ice cream – or cinnamon ice cream, warm angel cake with it drizzled on top of it, or even, dare I say it, anything with a good dark chocolate flavor. I would even go as far as stating it would make a great cocktail-a good vodka, a splash or two of Cranked Up Cranberry, and a touch of your favorite juice…ie cranberry, orange, raspberry (or just use those flavored liquors).
OK, now I am hungry and thirsty! Any other questions?
