Just a friendly reminder that the Pimp Your Sauce Contest entries are due by midnight tomorrow (4/21). The top entries will be selected by Monday and the final voting by the HSB community will begin. The winners, 1-10, will receive one of the signed and numbered 94-95 Original Deaths. Only 10 of these exist in the world! And the grand prize winner will receive a 16 Million Reserve – direct from Blair! Get your entries in asap!
Entry Rules & Specs:
- Pimp your sauce using whatever you can find – you can even pimp around your sauce (stand, display, background etc…)
- Take a picture (or 5) and send them into nick ‘@’ hotsauceblog.com with the subject line: Pimp Your Sauce Contest
- Everyone can submit as many entries as they like, but only 1-2 entries per person will be selected for the final vote.
- The final vote: The HSB community will have the final vote on the top 15 – 20 entries. The entry with the most votes will recieve #1, the entry with the second most votes will receive number 2 and so on and so forth. There will only be 10 winners (there are only 10 bottles).
- Any of the final entries with suspected voting fraud will be eliminated.
- All entry submissions must be received by 4/21 (that gives you 2 weekends to work) and final voting will be held the following week.

In a way I am, yes. I would rather see the prizes go to you guys. I’m not saying I would win, but if I did, I’d feel a little strange taking the prizes. I could have joined in the Caption #1 and #2 contests as well, but I would rather see the Batch #2’s go somewhere else. Like I said, I already own a couple of the 16 millions, and I collect only certain extracts, so the very rare Blair’s bottles of sauce that is up for a prize doesn’t really interest me. Would it not be better to have someone win who would appreciate the prizes much more than I would? Hopefully this explanation will shed some light on the subject.

Terrific! Byrce was too cool & hiking in Zion was awesome. Makes me hate to be back. Especially since Spring planting is only a few weeks away.
Though I looked, all I could find in the way of hotsauces out there was the T stuff.
Mostly Blair’s stuff. Instead of going across the board with everything out there, I figured hmmm, I like making extracts, and if I collected only those, I could focus my funds much for directly towards getting those (and The Createss holds the purse strings, oh the humanity of it all). It has worked out quite well so far.
I have what I think is a pretty cool idea. But I am a little on the busy side and I still have not aquired a camera. I won’t cry too bad. I just want to see the great stuff you guys come up with!!!
