Hi, there. 🙂
I’m a writer for a newspaper in Laconia, NH. (Still writing under my maiden name for the time being — just recently got married) I wanted to let you know in advance that I wrote an article recently for the paper on chile heads and it will be going in on July 8th (roughly — editors sometimes have a way of changing their minds). It started out as an article on a small group that a member of my church started, and it ended up getting expanded into a history of chile peppers and the trend in hot and spicy foods. When it’s online, I’ll send the link along.
Sounds like a good read Lori, please send it in.

Hi everyone!
I just wanted you all to know about my cool new Halloween hot sauce site: HauntedHotSauce.com. The hot sauces that I sell are VERY flavorful and are labeled with names like Fleshfeast, Return of Fleshfeast and Ghoul drool (the green jalapeno variety). And the best part is that each bottle comes in it’s own homemade cedar coffin! They even have a creepy paper mask on top of each bottle! Just in time for Halloween! Check it out!
Thanks all and…Happy Halloween!
Sincerely,
Victor “The Undertaker” Ives

Hello One and All-It’s a real pleasure to visit a site like this where the ego’s don’t get in the way. I’ve been trying to find a couple of sauces for the last 3, maybe 4 years. Let me give a little background. I’ve been collecting(1800+) and eating hot sauce(and all things related) for a while. I have smaller collections within the whole thing. I need one more of the NFL sauces that Hot Sauce Harry’s used to make, the LOS ANGELES RAMS. I’ve contacted Hot Sauce Harry’s and, YES they made it and NO they don’t have any. The other bottle is a hot catchup, Hot Kachita(sp). The Hot Kachita was pictured in the ’99 or ’00 calendar by Jennifer Trainer Thompson. I’m sorry I can’t be more specific about the catchup but I just move and everything is still in boxes. Anyway, if any body out there can help me out with either of these I’ll be eternally grateful. While I’m at it, does anybody know where I can get an EMPTY 1 gallon jug of Tabasco in the Las Vegas area. Also, Nick, I’d be honored to be an official taster/rater.
We are looking for SAUCE Companys to be part of the Tamale Festival on Nov. 11, 12 & 13, 2005
I’m desperately seeking a retailer or distributor of Crystal Hot Sauce. It the key ingredient to numerous long time family recipes. It’s the only hot sauce that i ever used. Please help my family and myself find this hot sauce. I’m located in Belle Glade, Florida; which is located in Palm Beach County.
THANKS IN ADVANCE,
Zoreayne Johnson
Hi, just a quick note to let people know about a new advertising billboard site which has been launched http://got-hot.com . The site takes the concept of the milliondollar homepage and tweaks it for the chilli/hot sauce and related industries.
The idea for the site (http://got-hot.com, http://got-pepper.com) came about as a way for us to increase the sales of our own hot sauce and we then got to thinking why should it only be for us. So we decided to launch it as a commercial venture, offering focused and cost effective advertising space.
At the moment we are running a launch special, we are offering 6 months advertising space at a discount. But note that this offer is not going to last long.
We already have our Google ad words at work and traffic to the site is growing. (Heck it has only been up for 2 weeks).
So if making hot sauce or related products is your business then Got-Hot.com is the place to advertise, if you are looking to buy hot sauce or related products then Got-Hot.com is the place to go.
I am looking for a recipe for a Chocolate Truffles with some heat. I love to bake alot, but candy making is not my thing. I would be interested also in other candy recipes as well. My co-workers and my husband likes things really hot, I’m the whimp – but I love the smell of chile.
Thanks
Hey guys. My first post here. I did a google search on hot sauce reviews and came up with you guys first. Awesome resource for the hot sauce lover. Anyway, to the point. I was looking for some type of online review of a guy I found out about up north (at least farthur north than me, I’m in Georgia). A friend of a friend of a friend gave me his website address so I checked it out and ended up placing an order. The guy has some really great sauce. Some of the best flavor I’ve tasted. I would have figured that somebody would have reviewed his stuff by now. Maybe he’s too new. Anyway, here’s the link. Go check him out!

In more than 10 years of collecting hot sauces – about 950 by last count – I never lost a bottle. But just recently – when I was having a new furnace installed in my basement, and just a couple of weeks ago when I had a flood down there – I lost my first two bottles. They were Hot Southern Nights (a peach habanero sauce) and Whole Foods Organic Hot Sauce. So far I haven’t been able to find replacements. Anyone with any doubles or info on where I can find these sauces, please contact me! Thanks.

Happy to help as I can, Pete. Here is a site that I found that has it listed anyway- can’t tell you if it’s available from them or not, but it looks like it might be: http://www.frontier.net/~cgeers/microsauce/ You might have to hunt around on that site a bit to find it (Southern Nights Hot Sauce). As to the other, try http://www.gonzosauces.com/_wsn/page2.html Hope this helps!
I really find your weblog most interesting and refreshing .. I am quite new to weblogging but on the other hand not new to blending some fine sauces.. I would love to hear from you .. My best regards.
Greetings all! Launching soon, the world’s hottest sauce – challenged! It’ll melt all that exist!
Question anybody…
Where do I send my sample for Scoville testing?

Pretty big shoes to fill.
As for an answer to your question, how much are you looking to spend?
I just wanted to put it out there that as far as hot sauce goes that Long Island PIT BULL HOT SAUCE is one of my favorites. With some fried chicken this does the trick. Also if anyone has heard Black Widow is another one thats only for the brave at heart.
