Southern Recipe Hot & Spicy Pork Rinds

Being that I was raised in South Texas, a favorite salty snack of choice for me has always been a package of fried pork rinds. This goes way back to my childhood before most of you were even born, like before Doritos were even invented…ha ha. Back then Fritos were the main stay and were commonly doused with Tabasco sauce to make the package a meal when chili wasn’t available (Frito Pie). Hot & Spicy Pork Rinds, on the other hand, could sometimes be found and certainly preferred over the regular flavored rinds. Southern Spice by Rudolph Foods is doing a great job of keeping this favorite snack around in good taste. Commonly found, I still consider them a special treat which takes me back in time. This is one of those comfort foods you grow up with and it is also always great to grab a bag when traveling or heading to the beach or ball game. Southern Recipe’s Hot & Spicy Pork Rinds go great with beer too!
