Big News from Sweat ‘N Spice

Well the rumors and whisperings are true, Sweat ‘N Spice has been sold. Wait, that’s too dramatic sounding. Without revealing the specific details, I’ve taken on two new partners, Amir & Steve and while I will maintain a interest in Sweat ‘N Spice, Amir & Steve are beginning to take over the day to day operations of the business. I will continue to maintain the website & photos and will stay on board as an advisor of all things hot.

Answers to a few questions that may be in peoples minds:

Why sell it? Working two jobs just wasn’t fun any more and I really wanted to take some time off to finish school, pursue new avenues in my career and slow down a bit.

I sell to SNS – what does this mean for me? The only change you will see is the shipping & billing address. Plus either Amir or Steve will contact you, but I may still. And everyone is free to still contact me. Also, on the shipping front – we now have a dedicated dock!

I want to sell to SNS – what does this mean for me? Well this move allows us access to a large warehouse, more capital and a desire to expand above and beyond what you see today. More space means we will be carrying more products. All good things…

What about a store? That’s still a possibility. In TX – I may set up a store, waiting to see how this semi retirement goes. And it would be partnered with SNS. In NYC? Yep, still on the books – once Amir & Steve get things really humming, we’ve agreed to review everything and see what we can get done.

What does this mean for the HSB? Nothing. The HSB will continue to run as is. In fact, this move allows the HSB to branch out into new areas and review even more products…

What about products sent to the HSB? Anything sent in to the HSB for review will still be considered to be stocked on SNS. And anything sent to SNS for consideration will be sent to me for photography and reviewing on the HSB.

Any other questions? Feel free to ask them here. I’ll be sending out contact information to everyone we currently buy from soon enough and in the interim, feel free to reach out to me with any other questions.
