The Deadliest Batch!
HOUSTON, The Deadliest Batch of some the hottest products from around the globe will be at the 8th Annual Houston Hot Sauce Festival, September 22 & 23, 2007.
Announcing Captain Keith Colburn and Captain Blake Painter (as seen on the Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch) will be appearing at the Houston Hot Sauce Festival Saturday, September 22 and Sunday, September 23. 2007. A meet the press opportunity will take place on Saturday, September 22 from 11 a.m. to Noon. Autograph signing will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and then again from Noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday. LIMITED ADDITION ” DEADLIEST BATCH” MERCHANDISE will be available at the Festival Merchandise Booth. The 2007 Houston Hot Sauce Festival Hot Sauce ‘The Deadliest Batch,” plus “Deadliest Batch” T-Shirts, and Posters (proceeds benefit cancer research).Captains’ Keith Colburn and Blake Painter will also be donating some collectibles to be auctioned off in a Silent Auction: Items can include, but are not limited to autographed Life Ring from the Wizard, ships compass, Wizard Jacket, T-shirts, caps, etc.
The festival will feature hundred’s of products from coast to coast. Hot Vendors from California to Florida will be haulin’ in Hot Sauce, salsa, chips, dips, peppers, spices, marinades, rubs, jams/jelly, pickled products, condiments, soup mixes, chili mixes, wing sauces, … chunky, spicy, smooth, garlicky, sweet, fruity, peppery, smokey… HOT and MILD! Hundreds and hundreds of hot and spicy products to try out from around the country and Jamaica. There is also plenty of food and cold beverages, ongoing stage entertainment, a chile-dren area (including some free and some ‘pay as you go’ activities for the kids), retail vendors, arts & crafts and pepper merchandise.
